Today was a busy and fun day! This morning I got up and went running with Jodi. Afterwards Nikki showed up to visit for a bit. Then I mowed the lawn and ran some errands. Tonight was the Playbox show! It was awesome! My Uncle Duke got up and sang Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire". He can now cross that one off his bucket list. For those of you who don't know he was diagnosed with terminal cancer of the liver, stomach and pancreas. Chemo has shrunk at least one tumor, but overall there is a poor prognosis. I can not wait to see a video of his performance.
I had a lot of friends show up for the show. It was really cool because most of Adam's friends were unable to come. My ears are still ringing and I'm down right exhausted. It was a good celebration and entertaining night with friends and family. I hope they can book more shows soon!
